OUR STORY
Sometimes the Lord calls a loved one home unexpectedly, and His will becomes more apparent with this loss. This is how the story of Abundant Hope began….
Aloha, my name is Kellie—a wife, mom of 3, daughter and physical therapist, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I unexpectedly lost my father to a massive brain bleed in February of 2022. The Lord allowed me to be there during his last conscious moments to his final breath. Although I felt much sadness, God provided peace that surpasses all understanding and hope in knowing that I would be reunited with him again in heaven. Losing him so suddenly also made me realize how fleeting our life on this side of heaven is. I took time for granted thinking that “there’s always tomorrow.” However, only God knows when our time here is up, and it may not be in His will for us to be here tomorrow. I am thankful that God gave my dad time to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of his life approximately a month before he passed away. Losing my dad unexpectedly birthed an urgency to tell family, friends, coworkers, or anyone we have an opportunity to share our life with, who are not yet born-again, to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of their lives before their time is up.
In April of 2022, the Holy Spirit confirmed the need to share the [blessed] hope we have in Jesus to those around us who are losing hope. Abundant Hope Clothing and Apparel is the product of my obedience to the prompting of the Spirit. The company name originates from Romans 15:13, which states:
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. May you, too, listen for promptings from the Holy Spirit, as we live with a sense of urgency to share the gospel of Jesus in these last days.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to share the abundant hope we have, from the God of hope, with those around us through clothing and apparel. We believe in and are thankful for what Jesus, the Son of God, did for us on the cross—He died for us to pay for the penalty of sin, was buried, then overcame death three days later. Jesus was victorious over sin and death, proving He is truly our Lord and Savior, also giving us a living hope as we await our inheritance in heaven (John 3:16-17, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-10, 1 Peter 1:3-5).
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, there is more urgency to share the gospel of Jesus as this world loses hope given the ongoing wars, persecution, division, pestilence and lawlessness. As Christians, we are called to be ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor 5:20), especially in these last days. We humbly ask that you join us and clothe yourself, your family and friends with God’s truths, so that Jesus Christ may be shared wherever you go. We also intend for our products to encourage you to live righteously—set apart from the world—and be the salt and the light of the earth (Matt 5:13-16).
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site! May the Lord bless you as you represent Him and walk in His will.
